ABOUT ME
Well, where to start! I began my art journey in late December 2020 - a friend jokingly commissioned a pet portrait of their partners beloved dog as a Christmas present. This was a lovely gesture but I hadn't picked up a pencil to draw in roughly a decade, still I took on the challenge with a can-do attitude as I always do. Within two months I had completed many more pet portraits for people all across the UK, then my first ever wildlife piece made it into the DSWF Wildlife Artist Of The Year - in association with the BBC Exhibition. Shortly after, many of my pet portraits made their way onto the set of The Crown - Season 5 on Netflix (albeit very far in the background!)
I have always loved all animals from big to small - colourful to plain. I believe they should all be celebrated and treated equally which is why I plan to support animal welfare and conservation through my wildlife art.
